Who I am

I grew up in Palawan, where I first learned that leadership isn't a title. It's what you do when people are counting on you. That lesson followed me from student council all the way into the finance office I work in today.

I joined JT International Philippines in 2023 as a Bright Start Scholar. I started as a Territory Execution Representative in Sucat, then moved into branch finance in Las Piñas. Working both sides of the business gave me a fuller picture of how things actually run, from the commercial floor to the finance desk.

Outside of work, I'm finishing a BSBA in Marketing Management at STI West Negros University, still holding my Dean's Lister standing under the JTI scholarship. I'm also a co-author of a study on sari-sari stores and digital payments, the author of The 1% Manager Blueprint and The Young Employee's Playbook, and a Philippine Red Cross volunteer since 2022.

Experience & leadership

Bright Start Scholar, JT International Philippines Inc. — since 2023

Confirmed in October 2025 after completing the BFA Training Program. I run daily reconciliations and accuracy checks, prepare and consolidate reporting for field operations, and partner with territory and commercial teams to resolve finance issues. Advanced Excel keeps the data quality high.
Worked directly in the field on sales operations, market dynamics, and customer engagement. It's practical experience that still shapes how I read the numbers on the finance side today.

Took part in the local JCI chapter, focused on leadership training and community projects.
Represented the academe on the Maningning TB task force, bringing a student and youth perspective to public health initiatives.
Helped set up the campus Red Cross Youth chapter to grow volunteerism among students.
Started the club to give students a space for competitive and recreational sports outside the classroom.
Led the Senior High and College Council and coordinated policies, events, and partnerships with schools, government units, and NGOs.
Support humanitarian deployments and safety advocacy, and help identify vulnerable groups across the province and city.
Joined the city's youth leadership pipeline, built around civic training and community work.
Wrote for the school's Filipino campus newspaper, covering campus life and student issues. Writing has stuck with me ever since.
